Our clients moved into a 1911 Craftsman home equipped with 800SF of attic space that had 3 bedrooms. Eager to get a bathroom added to that level, The Phinery was hired to develop a floor plan and design the finishes to evolve the space into a primary loft. The floor plan included splitting the largest bedroom into a walk-in closet and bathroom, opening up the entry of one of the bedrooms to create a loft-style bedroom with barn doors, and converting the smallest bedroom into a den/office. Unused dormer space was leveraged to create a secondary walk-in closet plus additional storage space for seasonal items.
