Sophisticated Boho Guest Room

ABOUT THIS PROJECT

This guest bedroom is on a lower level of the home, so we decided to really amp up the design to make the room feel inviting and cozy, despite the lack of natural light. We selected a bold wallpaper to create a backdrop for the bed, which made an immediate impact. Incorporating charcoal tones added the perfect amount of drama to the room. Gray nightstands and a gray upholstered bed add cool and neutral elements that make the space feel both calming and sophisticated. Flanking the bed with oil-rubbed bronze sconces is the final touch that makes the furniture scheme feel balanced. A brass overhead fixture adds a pretty vintage element to really round out the rest of the design. We love how unique this space feels - it has a ton of sophistication but remains playful and fun at the same time!
