Grand Primary Suite Renovation
We completed transformed this family's primary suite, complete with vaulted ceilings, gorgeous windows and a luxurious bathroom.
ABOUT THIS PROJECT
When we first visited the home, we were overwhelmed by the inherit charm of this turn of the century home. The house was truly spectacular, but lacked the function that the homeowners were really needing for their young family. The project began with working within the current footprint to add an en suite bathroom to the existing upstairs bedroom; however, after many iterations, the scope expanded to putting on an addition to support an expansive primary suite complete with a large and luxurious bathroom, an ultra convenient laundry space, a walk-in closet, and an impressive new bedroom with vaulted ceilings. This addition also afforded adding a family/rec room, mudroom and bathroom on the main level below the primary suite addition. We also to the opportunity to fully remodel the kids bathroom, and redesign the exterior including new siding, roof, front porch and deck. From early architecture guidance to the selection of all foundational materials, fixtures, and finishes, this project turned into a work of art – aligning with the original character of the home while providing the function and convenience needed for modern day living.
