ABOUT THIS PROJECT
This Tangletown bathroom was designed as part of a larger upstairs renovation and addition. The homeowners were envisioning a lakeside look full of character elements, neutral finishes, and a touch of warmth. The beadboard detail became a critical design element to accentuate the high ceilings and create a cottage feel. Bringing in the wood vanity added warmth to the space along with the polished nickel finishes. The shower has a hidden shampoo niche in the pony wall for easy, kid-friendly accessibility. Using the same grout color on the shower walls and floor creates harmony throughout the shower space, while still accentuating the shapes of the tiles. The glass shower door adds a luxe element to the room, along with small details like the crystal doorknob.
